A perfect spot to enjoy a week in Kyoto Near the Kiyomizu-dera ...on the main path that leads to the temples One block from bus stops and easy and fast to get a taxi I mostly walked , because Kyoto is very flat and has lovely pedestrian paths all over the city Great simple dining options nearby Having a full kitchen allowed me to eat in a lot A good family market was 2 blocks away The washer in the unit was great to get rid of my dirty clothes

Amazing hotel. Location perfect. Room very spacious. Has a wardrobe and kitchenette, including a washing machine. Really handy. Bed was comfy. The best sleep we had in Japan. We'd stay here again and recommend.

We weren’t told that we will be checking in at a different location, which was the entire home. I didn’t mind this but I wish we were told in advance as we were traveling multiple luggages with children. The condition of the house was good, although stairs were dusty. This was a fantastic find! It was a comfortable room with private bathroom, laundry and kitchenette which is perfect for longer stays. Very close to a bus stop, which made touring the city easy. Comfortable bed was a huge plus! Highly recommend if you want to stay in Gion.
