Reception staff were all very friendly and present at any time of the day. They offered free drinks and sake in the lobby as well. There was sitting available and even an origami how to book to keep people entertained. There was also a washer/dryer machine right in our room which made laundry super convenient and free!

Wonderful stay in Kyoto with convenient location near bus, subway, Nishiki Market and Pontocho Alley. Friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Heads up kids over age 6 are considered adults for the room. Be sure to explore the alley ways off the market streets for fun bars and delicious food options. The free sake tasting was a fun treat as well. Would definitely go back.
