Gorgeous hotel in the heart of the Higashiyama area. The room was spotless and so quiet and we all slept peacefully. A lovely bathroom too. The staff were faultless and so helpful. Would thoroughly recommend and certainly stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay at The Hotel Higashiyama Kyoto Tokyu! The room was very nice and comfortable, and the bathroom was absolutely fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help. The hotel is in a great location for exploring Kyoto, and we also really enjoyed the restaurant and bar, which were both excellent. We had a fantastic stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!

We loved our stay at The Hotel Higashiyama. It is a quiet escape from the crowds at Gion, but only a 15-20 minute walk from the area. The hotel staff are so sweet and helpful with calling a taxi or arranging luggage forwarding. Breakfast was excellent. 10/10 would stay again.

Stylish and modern. Comfortable bed. Location a little away from the main sights and shopping, but easy to walk (or plenty of bus routes nearby if it's too hot to walk!). Loved the drip coffee and matcha galettes included in the tea/coffee making set.
