Elegant hotel with plush beds, laundry service and very helpful and friendly staff. The rooms were spotless and the turndown service excellent. Great location to the eastern shrines of Kyoto. Out of the hustle of the goin but with transportation close by. One of my favorite hotels I've ever stayed in!

I stayed at The Hotel Higashiyama Kyoto Tokyu and it was a wonderful experience. The location in a short walk from historic temples, charming streets, and excellent dining. The staff were consistently attentive and professional, offering helpful local tips and making check‑in and check‑out effortless. My room was spacious, immaculately clean, and thoughtfully designed; the bed was comfortable and the windows framed peaceful city and garden views. For the quality of the hotel, the price felt like a real bargain. The hotel’s calm atmosphere made it easy to unwind after a day of sightseeing. I would happily return on my next trip to Kyoto.
