Excellent location and service

The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. They were very helpful with luggage forwarding. They never hesitated to help with anything we asked. We enjoyed the free drinks (coffee, tea, water, cocoa). We had a tatami mat room and it was very comfortable. The water closet and wet room was very clean. The hotel is within half a block to Kyoto station, a taxi stand and 7-11, so it's a very convenient location. There is a public bath, but we didn't try it. We used the paid laundry and it left our clothes wet after the dryer cycle. We had to set an additional cycle. The laundry was busy, but it was nice to be able to pack less knowing we had access to it.

We had the comfort Tatami twin room, which consists of two 120cm twin beds. Since we are traveling as 2 adults and 1 child, we did pushed the beds together and it was perfect for us. Their breakfast has good variety (even their beverages), and the staff are very helpful. The public bath was nice too with both inside and outside area. The water pressure if awesome. Location wise, it is south of the Kyoto station which is not the closest to all the tourist attractions, but if you are to do day trips to further places like Arashiyama, Osaka or Inari, closer to the train station is a good option. Going to the Nishiki market or around there, taking taxi using Go Taxi was convenient too.

Hotel is located 3mins from Kyoto station. Has luggage minding services for before you are checked in and after you checked out. 24hrs reception. All the amenities you could think of. Rooms are a tight squeeze for larger groups but this is in line with most Japanese hotels. Public bath if you are not shy. Small but great buffet breakfast.

Rooms are not very small when compared to the hotels we stayed in Japan. Very clean, and located from 2min walk from the Kyoto station, makes it very easy to move around. Breakfast was ok, above Everage.

Wow — amazing stay! This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Japan. The breakfast buffet was incredible — so many delicious options to choose from! The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, always going out of their way to make us feel welcome. We also loved the complimentary drinks available all day, which was a nice touch. The location is perfect, just across the street from Kyoto Station, making it super convenient for sightseeing and travel. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely return next time we’re in Kyoto!

This place was perfect for our stay in Kyoto. With Kyoto Station, multiple konbini options, and Don Quijote being so close and walkable, we had easy access to many notable locations. The room was quite small for two of us, but the amenities available were superb - onsen (with indoor & outdoor bath) and the breakfast with countless options... plus, super attentive and friendly staff.
