I had a wonderful stay at OMO3 Kyoto Toji by Hoshino Resorts. The hospitality here really stood out. The front desk staff were bilingual, welcoming, and incredibly patient. They even helped me fill out my Yamato luggage forwarding form step-by-step, which I truly appreciated as a first-time visitor navigating Japan. Their support made the process easy and stress-free, and it left a very positive impression.
The hotel itself is clean, modern, and peaceful. My room was surprisingly spacious compared to my stays in Tokyo and Osaka, and having a view of Toji Temple right from my window made my time in Kyoto feel even more special. It was a comfortable space to rest and reset after long days exploring the city.
The location is excellent—just 1–2 blocks from Toji Station and close to several major bus stops, making transportation simple and reliable. There is also a small lobby food and snack corner, which was perfect for grabbing something quick before heading out or when coming back late. It was a small touch, but genuinely useful during my stay.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my time here. Great staff, great rooms, and a great location made this a standout experience. I’m including a brief message in Japanese below so the staff can read my appreciation directly. I would happily stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto.
