The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property is across the street from Kyoto train station, which is very convenient. I enjoyed the traditional setting and rooms at the property. They had a traditional breakfast, which wasn't much food in quantity, but still a great experience. I would stay here again.

This hotel allowed us to experience a Ryokan. It is very traditional and simple but clean and suited all of our needs. The breakfast was a traditional Japanese breakfast and was well done. The location is perfect as it is just across the street from Kyoto Station. It is not fancy but neat to try while in Japan. The public bath was also clean, warm, quiet and refreshing.

This was one of the absolute highlights of my Japan trip. Everything felt authentic, refined, and exceptionally well prepared. The food was outstanding, the service was prompt and gracious, and the entire experience carried a real sense of class and care. The onsen was fantastic, and being just steps from the hotel made it even more special. It is definitely expensive, but the premium room was superb in every way.
