Very noisy. I could hear every car driving by. There were sirens and people revving up their cars, which made it hard to sleep. Otherwise, the staff was really nice and helpful. It was very clean and walking distance.

We are a family of 4 with two small children (6 and 4 years old). We always stay at MONday apartment hotels when we come to Japan. We chose this one because it’s our first time trying their premium chain and it did not disappoint. Everything was new and clean. It had the best shower we have had at a hotel before. The staff are very friendly and gave the kids some kids toiletries in a small bag and some candy. The area is quiet and walkable to transit lines (10 mins) and bus 4 min walk. There’s two grocery stores nearby. It’s walkable to Nishiki market (20 min walk) or 10 min bus ride. The room was very large with a nice big couch that can be a bed. Overall we had a wonderful time and will stay again.

Walkable to a lot of dining and pretty central to a lot of things to do in Kyoto. I really enjoyed our stay here the room was clean and spacious and the staff was super friendly. Will stay here again.

This is by far one of the nicest hotels I have stayed in, in a long time. It had so much room, a huge shower with water fall shower head, comfortable beds, nice washer and dryer, erc. Highly recommend staying here.

MONday hotel is perfect for family stay. The room is spacious with a small kitchen, oven, microwave and laundry machine. Staffs are all very kind and helpful. They speak ENGLISH. This hotel also provides free shuttle to Miyama village and kinkakuji. Bus stops and Subway are not far away. They help to ship luggages. We are very happy to stay in this hotel when we came to Kyoto. Definitely will book it again next time when we come to Kyoto. A big thanks to all the staff.

Alojamiento nuevo y por tanto muy limpio y cuidado. Habitación para 4 muy cómoda y grande comparada con otros alojamientos. Personal amable y dispuesto a ayudar. La situación bien pero no la mejor, el metro y el autobús no están en la puerta, sólo un problema si se tiene 38 grados como en nuestro caso. Paseo agradable para ir por la noche hasta zona comercial y restaurantes en Pontocho. El hotel tiene shuttle gratis a puntos turísticos como Kinkakuji temple y Miyama (este último está lejos y no nos mereció la pena). Estuvimos muy a gusto en este alojamiento.

The room is big for four of us. The sofa bed is so big can fit at least 6 people but we didn’t use it much. I could see the Kyoto tower which was very nice at night. The washer/dryer was our life saver. We loved the setting of the room so neat and practical and clean. We only stayed 3 nights so they didn’t have housekeeping service for us. But they provided all the towels for the stays. And if you need something you could get them in the lobby. The staff were friendly and helpful. They can communicate in English fluently. The only minor issue was the noise of the street. We stayed on 10/f which was the top floor. Our room was facing the street so at night we can hear some cars and ambulance making noises. And there was construction going on nearby so in the morning it can be a bit noisy. They gave us a gift at check out which was a nice touch. We loved this hotel. I think it called apartment but we had what we needed and we enjoyed the stays. Thank you!

Like the laundry in room and the pajamas comfortable. Really want to buy a pajamas from the hotel, but it is not available. Hope they can open the check in a little bit earlier when tourists are waiting in the lobby, and they actually have room available already.
