This is my third time staying at this hotel in Kyoto. It’s very clean, the staff is friendly, and the spa, restaurants, and location near public transportation make it super convenient. The only downside—and why I’m giving four instead of five stars—is that the luggage transfer process has changed. Previously the staff helped fill out the forms, but now it must be done online, which was difficult to navigate and I didn’t receive help with it. Still, overall a great stay and I would return.

This hotel was WOW! We went to Japan and stayed at 4 different hotels and this one was my favorite one. Service was a 100000/10 food was great, views were unbelievable amazing. Keep in mind this hotel is located on a rural area so you are about 20 min away from the little town and everything closes at 8. Meaning you are unable to get into public transportation or taxi after that time. We had to walk 30 min to get back to the hotel. Nothing major, you really don’t hav to leave this hotel because it is stunning

It feels like a luxurious hotel with excellent service. The rooms are incredible and the discounts on the few shops and restaurants below were appreciated. It was very close to the train station but a bit far from areas that we wanted to explore.

The Hotel is nicely located in a quiet neighborhood and easily accessible from Kyoto station by train (1 stop) or multiple buses. However the room could have been cleaner. There was dust in the corners and behind the tv. One person of our group had a big allergic reaction.

The room was very clean and spacious, and the best part of my stay at Hotel Emion was the staff. Keisuke and Yuki went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay and even reached out to me after we left about some belongings we accidentally left in our room. I will definitely be recommending this hotel to my friends and will be coming back to stay again!
