Very nice property in the middle of Kyoto: good access to most sites. Road outside is very busy: this makes the property at night quite busy (we were up a number of floors, but still road noise). Can't really fault the hotel for that. Appreciate the coffee and ice water (given how hot it was!). Would stay again.

We stayed for 4 nights at this hotel and the overall experience was quite good. The hotel has the best value for money, with a superb location, comfortable beds and pillows, very convenient, nice buffet breakfast with a variety of Japanese food, but a few western options. The staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were rather small though, a coffee machine in the room would have been nice, and rooms cleaning could have been more thorough.

Location of hotel is so convenient! It is located on a main busy street with bus stops and train stations within a 2-5 min walk. restaurants and shopping all nearby and close. We loved going out in the morning, come back to the hotel late afternoon to rest before heading out to dinner. The location of this hotel allows you to do that. Room is clean and spacious by Japanese standard. We had 3 people and had a room with 3 twin beds which was perfect. Bathroom has tub and separated by partition. Only con was the buffet breakfast was disappointing. we paid 2000 yen p/p and it was not worth it. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay but skip the breakfast.

Booked this hotel without expectations and turned out, a very nice hotel with excellent location for shopping and dining. It's clean and the cleaners do their jobs really well. The breakfast is ok, no wow factors to it but the dining staff were really nice. 4 stars as the reception staff weren't as friendly and helpful, can be improved. Also if you can include cotton pads as amenities.
