Perfect for solo travelers and would recommend their breakfast! Was lovely to wake up to an onsen and then breakfast! The only thing is I wish they offered softer pillows as my neck and shoulders hurt after sleeping (I think this is more of a western preference so just keep that in mind :) )

Friendly, helpful staff. Hot Spring was nice. Good amenities. Room was an adequate size for two. Free washing machine and very cheap drying machines. Close walk to Kyoto train station, like 5-10 minutes walk. Close to bus stations too.

The room was very clean and more spacious than expected (stayed in the twin room). It’s ideal for sightseeing since they’re located close to JR Kyoto Station and they hold onto your belongings for you before check-in and after check-out! Onsen was not too crowded and is open all night until the following morning. Decent amenities (ie. moisturizer, cleanser, razor, hair band, shower cap). They also have nice freebies like ice cream at night and a probiotic drink in the morning. Amazing breakfast buffet with great traditional foods and some western options as well! :)

A great property in a good location with friendly staff and tattoo friendly (sticker covers provided) rooftop onsen. I also love that each room has its own air conditioning controls…. I can’t handle the Japanese hotels that have centrally controlled heating.
