Good hotel at the center

Stayed for several days in the hotel. The building is not new but the location, staff, and the service made my stay very pleasant. As described in another review, it’s not the Hilton but it gives you all the basics of an enjoyable stay. Highly recommended to travelers who want to be economical about their travel plans.

Dorm room but good location

It reminded me of a dorm room from university, but it was clean and did the job. Air conditioner would only stay in for 20 minutes st one time, but had large window to open. Close to supermarket and restaurants and downhill to walk to the train station

central location in city center

Restful sleeps and the staff spoke decent English, the wireless internet was weak at best. The rooms were clean and comfortable enough. The Express Hotel is good valve compared to the other hotels in the city center area.

deceptive listing. this is tucked away in a sketchy courtyard, 10 min walk from arbat st. unfriendly staff. holes in linen. definitely not a hotel! its a hostel with private rooms charging hotel prices. dont bother.

Good location but everything else sucks.

THe hotel is in a good spot near the train station but everything else is mediocre at best. They charge to hold your bags and the bed is small and hard. Room needs remodeling. Anyway, it's ok if you just want to come to Kiev for a few days on a budget.

Pretty typical hotel for the location. Breakfast was local style but perfectly fine. No problems with Internet etc. Hotel was warm despite being -15c outside.

Terrible hotel, old and dirty.

The bed in my room was very small and uncomfortable. Every morning I had a back ache. The room was freezing and the heat barely works. When I asked to switch to a bigger bed, the reception asked asked for a very high additional payment.
