The listing needs to be edited for accuracy. There are only 3 bedrooms. There are 5 beds total. Was given the incorrect code and communication was delayed from the host. The air conditioner did not work in the top room. We contacted the host. Both thermostats were set at the same temperature as directed. Its still did not work. The windows were dirty preventing a good view from inside. The pool was dirty. Rental price is not in line with this property.

Property is in a great location, just a short .25 mile walk to the Kure beach boardwalk for a coffee or a nice meal. The house has lots of space for large groups and the heated pool was wonderful in March. The house is a bit older with some recent updates but some age still showing

This house is absolutely gorgeous from the outside, the pool and beach location. And it is a great place for families who don’t care much about amenities. The main floor is beautiful with great large gathering areas. But the amenities are very cheap. The overhead lights in two bedrooms didn’t work. The paint is worn and drywall repair has been poorly done. We travel a lot and have paid much less for homes that are in much better shape. If you’re just looking for a basic beach house, this would work. We wanted something a little nicer.

Awesome location! You can’t beat the pool on the beach. We had so much fun at this property. The private beach was so nice. The host was extremely responsive. The washer was being fixed during our stay and they went out of their way to do our laundry. We had an amazing time and would stay again.

Multigenerational family getaway

Great place for a large family vacation. Efficiency in basement is perfect for older teens or young adults. Easy access to beach for all. Pool is a great alternative if you don’t feel like heading to the beach. Would definitely book again.

Pure Paradise

Overall, we had an amazing stay. We always love coming to Kure and this house’s proximity to the beach, pool, and amount of indoor space was just what we were looking for. The house was well kept and clean for the most part. I do wish there were rugs at the entryways to prevent tracking anything into the house. We ended up putting down towels to prevent this. The washing machine was also a bit moldy, but I know how difficult it is to keep front load washers clean! The pool was the perfect addition and it being heated for our May stay was fabulous. The only thing we wish would have been communicated to us is that people were coming to clean the pool. This happened twice, and one of those times we had to get out and couldn’t use the pool for an hour. Not a big deal, but would have been nice to know. Either way, none of these things would deter us from staying here again. Totally worth it and we can’t wait to come back!

Great location and space

We had a great stay - mostly just me and my grand-dog. It had what we needed for him to enjoy himself which was key. It has a gated deck for him do casually lounge. It has a gated area around the pool and a private access to the beach. All perfect. And a nice area just down the block that’s town parking and plenty of grass to not bother someone’s yard. We loved going off season whole beach to ourselves. The place was perfect.

Fantastic beach front location!

This is a perfect, beach front location! Great layout for a family gathering, which is what we used it for. The house was clean, but it needs some cosmetic work. The managers were fantastic to work with, and we were able to check in early for an extra 100. Be aware the check out time is 10 a.m.

Great time in spite of the weather

Great Location

Our family spent Christmas at the beach this year and we were thrilled with this property. The only difficulty we really had was the steeper steps up to the first level of bedrooms (second floor). It was a little difficult for our older father to get to bed in the evening. We were aware ahead of time that this could be a problem based on the photos, so this is definitely not a negative reflection on our hosts. On top of the great access and view of the beach, there is even a dog park just a few blocks away! Would definitely recommend this property.

Family getaway

Overall we enjoyed our stay, but parking was challenging. We tried to reach out to the property manager and heard nothing back. The upstairs bed was broken and uncomfortable. There was no way to keep the sun out of the upstairs bedrooms. No blinds or curtains. The downstairs apartment reeked of cigarette smoke. The patio furniture was disassembled and rusty. The adjacent property had much nicer furniture (duplex so same layout). The proximity to the beach was nice.

Perfect place to stay

The house is really nice. Beautiful and spacious. The rooms are also very good. It is in a good location. I will definitely return. The comunication with the owner was also very good. She replied my messages very quickly. I would definitely recommend this place.
