The hotel barely qualifies as a 3 star hotel. We were disappointed with the food, the activities, the cleanliness, the prices. The service was fine, the people are nice. But we will not go back. I am gluten free, and there's almost nothing i could eat. The activities are very simple. Having recently stayed at what i'd rate a similar National Park in Costa Rica, it was much better. We had stayed in Mutiara hotels in JB, KL and Malaka, but did not realize these hotels are no longer connected. For better prices there's other options to stay at in Kuala Tahan.

Amazing hotel in the Taman Negara National Park. Great set up for all trips into the jungle. Worth noting you need to catch a boat across the river to get to the hotel.

I had a couple of very pleasant days at the hotel, the room was clean. But when I arrived there was a puddle of water on the floor from a leaky fridge, it was fixed very quickly, but should have been checked before guests were arriving. Also, the engineer that came to fix it, just walked in which was disturbing. The shower is quite fiddly and the first night I couldn't have a shower as I couldn't get any water to come out, the engineer came the next day and got it going but after a long day of travel the shower really should be working. Apart from these 2 issues the grounds were beautiful and the back of the veranda faced the jungle.

Rooms are great and to be in nature is perfect. Great location. My only complaint is the included meals are buffet and the food overall is mediocre. Very bland. And the coffee is terrible. But the stay and access to trails were perfect.

Amazing… But

Incredible location and surroundings. Tours where great, and worth the money.. but, the cabins are old, and some of them is located quite far away. Worst thing was the food, absolutely disgusting, not even up to marginal standard - a shame, since the place has so much potential.

Stay in the middle of the jungle

Best location. Service minded staff. Tours available on site. Cottage super cozy. Food was average. A/C works perfect. Tip: dont leave anything outside the door, the monkeys will take it / eat it! Also, the animals make noise at night (it is the jungle after all), so if you are a light sleeper remember ear plugs.

Het resort ligt prachtig in het Nationaal Park. Diverse excursies mogelijk. Wij zijn met de nacht excursie op de boot gegaan. Weliswaar niet heel veel fauna gezien (wat slapende Kingishers en een salamander), maar het was indrukwekkend in het donker in de jungle. Ook overdag excursie met boot gedaan, indrukwekkende jungle en naar een mooie plek om te zwemmen. Eten is weliswaar niet hoogstaand, maar voldoende keuze. Een aanrader!

De info over activiteiten was heel matig. Er zouden geen privé gidsen meer zijn en maar 1 mogelijke hike. Ga je in zelfde park naar de plek waar je entrance betaalt dan bieden ze gidsen aan maar ook alle activiteiten. Daar deden ze ook moeite door voor je te gaan bellen. - tip: mogelijkheid aanbieden bij de boeking om excursies vooraf te reserveren. - er zou privé parkeer plaats zijn maar wij hebben boven in dorpje moeten parkeren Verder mooie accomodatie en omgeving!

Hôtel idéalement situé à l’entrée du parc. Chambre propre mais qui mériterait une remise à jour (un peu vieillot). Personnel très gentil et serviable. Le buffet est de qualité et à taille humaine. Les activités proposées par l’hôtel sont satisfaisantes mais avec trop de monde à notre goût. On a pu observer beaucoup d’animaux au sain de l’hotel (varan, sauterelle à feuille géante, singes, milles pattes….) ce qui est exceptionnel.
