I stayed at Starus Hotel Bukit Bintang from Monday to Wednesday and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is definitely the biggest advantage—it’s within walking distance of Jalan Alor, Bukit Bintang, shopping malls, and plenty of restaurants, making it very convenient for exploring Kuala Lumpur. The room was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed for a short stay. The staff were friendly and the check-in/check-out process was smooth. The hotel also has good facilities, including a nice swimming pool and gym. The only minor downside was that the area can be a little noisy at night since it’s in the heart of the entertainment district, but that’s expected for such a central location.

Staff ok but lacked enthusiasm, this hotel serves mainly Asian visitors so appears to be geared towards them. Location is great with food street 200 meters away and access to bin tang area. Be aware that just down the road the foot path is lined with hookers particularly at night with at least 30, may bother some people. Breakfast geared toward Muslim locals and average at best. Overall it’s a great location, rooms are fine and location excellent.

This was a tough stay. Check-in was brutal with seven of us in line. One overworked girl. Wierd thing no phones in room to ask any questions. Location was excellent. Pool was closed randomly and my room card expired before checkout. So a long ride , slow elevators, long line up to wait to get room key fixed It seemed like very poor customer service due to poor staffing levels. I won’t return here
