Great Rooms in A Quiet Area

Pretty nice hotel with lovely, clean rooms and friendly, helpful staff. Coffee shops and supermarkets are like 5 min walk away. 10 minutes drive to Batu Caves.

When l checked into the room on second floor, there was strong foul odor and bathroom floor had black mildew. The sink in the bathroom had mildew too around the edge. Carpet was filthy. It was then l realized that the a/c was on max in hallways to mask this humidity odor. I complained and about the condition of the room to receptionist and she said she will have maintenance look at it. I spent the night in the room and could not sleep due to smell. Next morning l complained again and they found the odor was from a/c and immediately removed me to the 5th floor, which was better but there was a huge area of condensation marks on ceiling.

Bad services, call to them an hour no respond. And blame me never call immediately. Room like no aircon. Before check out time got someone open the door! Mercure should be the 4 star hotel, and end up received the super bad experience.

Hotel was clean and new,however the lack of sound proofing for the pipes made the night bad, we cant fall asleep due to the noise coming from The water pipes. Or else it would have been comfortable
