Our Vacation Rental 6 “Anton” accommodates up to four people and impresses with its spacious, modern furnishings and well-thought-out architecture. The incorporation of the large former barn door gives the apartment a unique studio-like atmosphere. The large panoramic window not only makes the apartment exceptionally bright but also offers you a sweeping view of the beautiful East Frisian landscape. Look forward to enjoying breakfast on the spacious, sun-drenched terrace, having an evening barbecue on the provided grill, or simply relaxing under the umbrella or in the garden.
Spanning two floors, you’ll find tasteful, high-quality amenities including real wood parquet flooring, underfloor heating, a smart TV, Bluetooth speakers (Marshall Stanmore III), a fully equipped kitchen with an induction stove (original Bora cooktop), dishwasher, Nespresso machine, milk frother, toaster, microwave, Wi-Fi, and much more.
On the first floor, this charming vacation rental features a spacious, harmoniously furnished living and dining area with custom built-ins that complement the thoughtfully designed overall concept. We place great importance on ensuring that you feel just as comfortable in our “shared home” as we do as the owners. That’s why the furnishings are diverse and high-quality, right down to the smallest details. In addition to the usual appliances, you’ll find a wide selection of nearly new books and travel guides, as well as board games. The spacious, open-concept kitchen area—equipped with every amenity—is integrated into the cozy living area. A large dining table for 6 to 8 people invites you to enjoy meals together in a convivial atmosphere. Additionally, the first floor features a modern bathroom (with a walk-in rain shower) and a storage room.
The upper floor features two tastefully furnished bedrooms: one with a double bed (200x180 cm), and one with either a single bed (200x80 cm) or a double bed (200x160 cm). The east-facing bedroom also features a separate desk for working. The view from the historic round window above the old barn entrance also gives the apartment a very special, unique touch. Also on the upper floor is another modern and spacious bathroom, equipped with a floor-to-ceiling rain shower, toilet, and a heated towel rack.
The bright and welcoming atmosphere, combined with modern amenities and nestled within the still-visible history of the historic, protected building, will delight you and ensure that you feel completely at home during your stay.
Children are, of course, also very welcome and can play to their hearts’ content with toys in the children’s room or on the lawn in front of the terrace. For our youngest guests, a high chair and a crib are also available. All accessible electrical outlets in the vacation rental are equipped with built-in child safety covers. Night lights with motion sensors are also provided.
Laundry facilities are available. The complex has a washing machine and dryer (for a fee).
You can park your car safely in the parking space assigned to the apartment (which includes an electric charging station). Bicycles you bring with you can be stored safely with access to electricity in the lockable storage room behind the parking spaces.

The Van Senden Farm is located in the historic village of Rysum in the Krummhörn region, near Greetsiel and the East Frisian North Sea coast. The renovated historic farm complex combines the unique character of an East Frisian farm with modern vacation apartments and plenty of space surrounded by nature.
Depending on their size, the 15 vacation apartments are suitable for couples, families with children, as well as families and friends traveling together. Modern duplex apartments, terraces, high-quality amenities, and spacious outdoor areas provide the perfect setting for a relaxing North Sea vacation.
The farmstead is particularly appealing to guests who wish to travel together: Several vacation apartments are located directly within the same courtyard complex. This allows families or friends to spend their vacation together while still enjoying the privacy of their own vacation apartment.
Rysum itself, with its historic houses, church, and the famous Rysum Mill, is one of East Frisia’s most characteristic Warf villages. Greetsiel, the Pilsum Lighthouse, Emden, and the North Sea dike are all easily accessible. The area around Krummhörn is also ideal for bike rides and excursions along the East Frisian North Sea coast.
The Van Senden farm is therefore ideal for guests who want to combine historic East Frisia, peace and quiet, and plenty of greenery with proximity to Greetsiel and the North Sea.
