Welcome to the “Meereszeiten” vacation rental in charming Eilsum—the village right next to Greetsiel. Here you can enjoy the soothing tranquility of rural East Frisia, yet still reach the popular harbor town of Greetsiel—with its twin windmills, cafés, restaurants, and typical maritime atmosphere—in just a few minutes.

The lovingly furnished vacation rental on the upper floor of the house offers approximately 70 m² of space for up to 3 people and is ideal for couples, small families, or solo travelers who value comfort, natural light, beautiful sunsets, and an excellent location. A separate entrance ensures maximum privacy. For our youngest guests, we provide a crib and a high chair free of charge.

An outdoor staircase with its own entrance, located on the side of the house, leads you into the inviting entryway of the vacation rental. Here you’ll find plenty of space for jackets and shoes.

The spacious living and dining area forms the heart of the apartment. A bright, cozy sofa bed (3-seater) invites you to relax and can be easily converted into an additional sleeping area in just a few simple steps (sleeping surface 188 × 140 cm). Of course, there’s also a TV here.

The modern, bright built-in kitchen is very well equipped and leaves nothing to be desired:
fridge-freezer, oven, stovetop, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter & Tassimo), toaster, electric kettle, and numerous extras make cooking on vacation pleasant and hassle-free. The adjacent dining table seats up to six people and harmoniously connects the living and kitchen areas.

The spacious, bright bedroom in the quiet rear section of the apartment is furnished with a comfortable double bed (180 × 200 cm) and offers the perfect setting for restful nights. The modern, new bathroom features a shower and boasts a bright, contemporary design.

All skylights can be blacked out. High-quality oak laminate flooring has been installed in all living areas, creating a warm and pleasant living atmosphere.

In the front garden area of the house, you’ll find your own small seating area (without a lawn). It’s located near the staircase and is separated from the garden of the ground-floor apartment by a hedge—ideal for dining outdoors, enjoying the sun, or simply unwinding. A cozy beach chair rounds out this area and creates that authentic North Sea vacation feeling.

Traveling with a group?
You’re also welcome to book both vacation rentals together—the Watthuus on the first floor and the Meereszeiten on the upper floor. This gives you exclusive use of the entire house, which can accommodate up to 10 people. Ideal for families who are friends, multi-generational groups, or shared vacations with plenty of space and privacy.

You’re welcome to add a laundry package as an optional extra. This can be done during the booking process or at any time afterward for a fee.
