We loved seeing the monkeys up in the trees! We did not like the urn with water inside it, outside our room. Mosquitoes lay their eggs in the stagnant water. When we entered our room, there were a few mosquitoes in it the room, which was disappointing. We suggest that you get rid of those urns because they are a breeding ground for mosquitoes.

The resort is exceptional and offers direct access to both sides of the peninsula for easy access by boat on the East and a great beachfront with stunning cliff views on the West. The three internal resort pools are great for quiet lounging. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable and the breakfast service offers a great variety of quality food.

Three of us friends had separate bungalows and loved the resort and Railay Beach. It was wonderful; perfect location, spacious bungalows, peaceful environment, good breakfast, monkeys and birds...it was a wonderful stay. The staff was very nice.

The check-in and get to the villa was friendly and fast.We were amazied by the stunning looks of the nature in that area. Seeing the first monkey is special, on the last morning it looked like the whole family came to say goodbye on the front porch and that was feeling a bit different. The restaurant has good food and friendly staff, all halal so no alcohol available, which is no problem. The problem is that the cook has some problem with time management since the appetizer and main come at the same time. Or you get the food and your partner will get it when you are finished. To reduce that a bit we ordered the appetizer first, after finishing that, order agian. The resort is clean, I walked a lot on my bare feet without hurting. The whole of Railay beach area is quiet, except for the shopping and restaurant streets, but in general a perfect place to recharge. All together a place we would like to visit again.

This property and beach are great! I’m not sure it’s the best one but for us it was perfect. It’s a bit overpriced for Thailand in my opinion. Note: there is a huge trash barge that washed up on the shore right in front of the hotel obstructing the view. It’s going to take a lot of time and money to remove it so it’ll be there a while. This post is 8-9-25. The thing is, all the hotels have this problem on Railay beach so it’s not just Sand Sea’s problem. Overall, loved it!
