Our room was beautiful. Quiet location though still close to all the fun and beauty of Railay. The Pools were both fantastic (though the roof pool could use more seating as it is very popular). What really made it was the staff! The woman hosting the breakfast buffet telling me about the resident cat after she saw me petting it, or the other cleaning staff member who, when I mention my husband was staying in with an upset stomach, made sure to give me lots of bottles of water, juice boxes, among other little things to keep him comfortable. Our favorite part was watching the cute monkeys visit the trees in front of our patio in the mornings. We wish our stay was longer!

We had a lovey stay at the hotel, it just needed updating. The breakfast was brilliant and the location was fantastic, perfect side to watch a sunrise and very short walk to watch it set on the West side. Rooms were the small problem, it just needs investment as all a little dated. Staff were incredibly helpful and lovely.

Many mosquitoes in the room. Not sure where they were coming from (fans, vents, A/C, etc.) but each night I would kill a couple on the walls before I went to bed, and I would wake up with a bite or two on my face or arms. Everything else was great (service, food, pool)

Best stay on Railay beach, especially considering the price. The staff are so incredibly friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful, the beds are comfy, the shower pressure is perfect, and they even have a rooftop pool. It is a convenient walk to the beach and laundry services. Highly recommend!

Fabulous location right by the boat pier. Our room overlooked a pond and the pool at the back of the property. Incredible for wildlife viewing, fish, monitor lizards, birds and monkeys. Breakfast was varied and plentiful with a lovely relaxed setting. I wouldn’t really think this was 4 stars though. Bathroom design was not ideal with nowhere to even place your toothbrush! Never loan any makeup. Only one power plug for the entire room! No power points beside the bed.

Railay beach is a must for any trip to southern Thailand, absolutely beautiful. Don’t forget to check out Phara Nang Beach as it is even better. For the price this resort is a such a fantastic deal. Perfect location, amazing rooftop pool, great rooms. Service and food were decent (nothing bad to say at all just spent a lot of time at other restaurants). Although technically not an island, you can only access by boat and therefore it functions like an island in all the best ways, as it feels very tropical and removed from the mainland for a relaxing and authentic feel. It takes 15 minutes to boat there and we had no problem at all during the hours of 8-6 to get there and back from the Krabi/Ao Nang. Such a highlight of our trip, nothing negative to say.

Felt like a scam the whole time. Have been going to Railay for over ten years now and have been by this hotel numerous times and looked very nice but had never stayed there. When I arrived I was put in a real shabby building which u cannot see from walking street. The room was really embarrassing with an old, moldy bathroom, useless WiFi and a bed that had been to war. After two days of complaining about the WiFi, I was upgraded but still not to the main building but to the top floor of the same building I was already in. The room was nicer and the WiFi was slightly better but there was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom. When I informed staff, they seemed to careless and a few hours later put in a candle. Despite these problems staff never checked back in to see how everything was. Also on the night before checkout I asked for a late checkout and they said to call back at 8am and then maybe they would give me a half hour more. In the end it was very disappointing. The place was falling apart and the staff had an attitude of caring less. Almost like they know it’s bad but figure most people will stay 1-2 nights and be gone. In the end I moved to my regular hotel (which had been sold out) next door which felt like a palace for the same price

I still think about this property to this day. First and foremost the breakfast was great. Location is superb because it’s the resort closest to the main dock, so if you’re doing excursions - you don’t have to wake up so early to walk to the dock or when you arrive/leave you won’t have to take your bags very far. Views from every angle of this hotel are insane. You can see the beautiful rocks and ocean every which way. The room itself is huge and ac works fabulous. I did really enjoy all the close bars and restaurants near by. There’s also a nail salon in walking distance that was great. At night there is bioluminescence in the water, so a night swim is always fun. As a solo female traveler I felt very safe and secure in my room. Make sure to check out all the beaches near by, some may not be available to access until the tide goes down so ask a local to help show you. I can’t wait to come here again
