Maitoniemi is a rental cabin situated on a sunny peninsula along a water route spanning several tens of kilometers, offering breathtaking views ideal for kayakers. This destination is well-suited for families and couples seeking a pleasant vacation.

25 km to the east from Kouvola, Väliväylä Canoeing Route 15 m, gently deepening sand beach, rowing boat, and a pier. Round log cabin, built in 1998 and renovated in 2023, features a living room/kitchen, a bedroom with a double bed, another bedroom with a single bed and a bunk bed, a bathroom with a shower and WC, and a wood-burning sauna.

A grill hut serves as an outdoor cooking area, complemented by a gas grill on the terrace. The spacious, partly covered terrace includes an embedded hot tub, free for use between May and October. Note: Hot tub usage is included in the accommodation price during the summer season from April 28th to October 31st. Guests are responsible for filling, heating, and emptying the hot tub. If you prefer the hot tub pre-filled and preheated, this can be arranged with the owner for an additional fee of 100 euros. Please note that during the winter months (November to April), access to the hot tub requires prior agreement with the owner.

Es war alles perfekt. Super Ausstattung, es hat nichts gefehlt. Sehr schöne ruhige Lage. Es waren 3 Häuser auf der anderen Uferseite in Sichtweite. Dort hielt sich aber niemand auf, sodass man mit den springenden Fischen und den Vögeln allein war.

Schöner Fleck Erde

Wir waren rundum zufrieden. Das Haus ist sehr schön und ruhig gelegen. Wir hätten gerne den Badezuber ausprobiert. Leider hat das Wetter nicht so mitgespielt wie wir es uns vorgestellt haben. In den 14 Tagen hatten wir durchschnittlich 30 Grad. Was sehr untypisch für Skandinavien ist. Der See, gleich am Haus, hat für Abkühlung gesorgt und wer gern angelt kommt auf seine Kosten. Hechte ohne Ende. Wer im Sommer reist sollte unbedingt etwas gegen Mücken mitnehmen ;-).

traumhaft schön

das Haus ist traumhaft gelegen, direkt am langsam fließenden Gewässer. es ist sehr gut ausgestattet, wir haben jedenfalls nichts vermisst. einfach ein perfekter Urlaub. gern wieder.
