Lovely visit. Breakfast not open when we left. I looked for coffee in the lobby but there was none. Maybe a chance to get a coffee once we checked out would have been nice. I know the room had coffee but anticipated getting coffee in the lobby. Enjoy your day. Thank you

The hotel has stunning views! The room was big enough so we didn’t feel crowded and the washroom was big enough for the 2 of us to get ready at the same time. The cliff-side rock beach was beautiful, but as someone who was new to swimming in the sea, it was too intimidating. The beach on the bay side was much calmer and a great place to hang out. The beach doesn’t have sand or pebbles, it’s more like a swim platform with free loungers for hotel guests. There are stairs to enter the sea, which is much easier. You can’t touch the bottom so if you have kids that can’t swim, you’ll need flotation devices. There are lots of fish if you want to snorkel The buffet was delicious and provided a lot of food options, including eggs benedict. We also ate at the steakhouse on-site, which was delicious. It’s definitely a slower pace hotel, so if you’re looking for nightlife, you’re better off staying in a hotel in Lapad. We were here for the relaxation so it was perfect for our needs. We could take a water taxi, bus or a Uber/Bolt/taxi to get to Dubrovnik. We enjoyed our stay as it was me and my husband. If we had our teen boys, we would opt for a place in Lapad.

Great Hotel. Beautiful location. We had a room in the refurbished part which was lovely, great views, very clean. Set in great location 5 mins walk to the harbour. Lively bars and restaurants. Only 1 thing....Croatia is now expensive 6 euros a beer. Spoke to staff they said they have been struggling as cost of living has gone through the roof since covid and joining the euro.

We had a lovely stay at Hotel Croatia. The location is uphill but offers breathtaking views, and there are buggies to take you to Cavtat. The coastal walk around the hotel is beautiful but hilly — bring comfy shoes! Staff were friendly and helpful; housekeeping even remembered a request I’d made earlier, which was a nice touch. The room was clean and a good size. While not quite 5-star by international standards, it was comfortable overall. The bed and pillows were a bit firm, but fine for a short stay. Watch out for minibar charges. We weren’t told that snacks outside the minibar were chargeable. One opened item was correctly billed, but another we never touched appeared on our bill twice. Reception removed it, but it re-appeared at checkout. Also, housekeeping knocked several times to leave chocolates — kind, but a bit disruptive. Breakfast had plenty of choice, though the coffee and tea were bland. Dinner (€20 for three courses) was good value, and Cavtat town nearby is perfect for lunch. The gym was excellent and clean; the indoor pool was cold despite being advertised as heated. Overall, the hotel is clean, well-located, and has great amenities. Cavtat is a peaceful gem compared to busy Dubrovnik. I’d stay again if the price was right, just double-check minibar charges

Every time we come to Croatia we plan a stay at Hotel Croatia. It’s such a beautiful hotel and the receptionists at check in are professional, super friendly and helpful with any questions. I love the complimentary shuttle to the nearby village as well which sits on the water but the restaurants and bars in the hotel are outstanding as well and can’t be missed. I can’t wait to come back again and enjoy the sweeping ocean views from the balcony. I give this hotel and staff a ten out of 10.

Mold in the shower, sink didn't drain and they couldn't get out vehicle out of the driveway for over an hour as they hadn't taken residents car keys up on check in. Not sure how this place is rated 5 stars it's a two at best. The service at the outdoor bar and indoor bar was very attentive and friendly so kudos to those guys but overall a dissapointing stay.

Room was clean and comfortable but lot of noise from scraping of chairs and walking on the hard floor in the room above. Staff were very helpful, friendly and approachable. We had a small issue with our aircon which was sorted immediately. Indoor pool was ok but outdoor pool was too cold to get into. More signage around the hotel would have been useful. Breakfast was good but it wasn’t explained how it worked. We spent the first morning wandering around trying to find a table.

Clean Room: but you need to ask for a refill in the bar, like tea. Our room air conditioning did not work, so we just open the door in the balcony. I didn’t like staff going to our room without informing us apart from room make up. Corridor carpet very clean and not smelly. The lobby scent was so lovely!!!! Buffet: we have the half board which was an excellent decision I made…food was delicious and lots of choices, menu is different everyday. Although outside the hotel have lots of restaurants. Buggy service daily going up and down the hotel was fantastic! It’s like riding on a roller coaster for some drivers:) Staff:Excellent service and friendly. Special mention to certain staffs: Rockey, Ross,Ruel, Michael, John for going and beyond. Balcony:Thank you for giving us the balcony room overlooking the sunset. Amazing view Outdoor pool: it was closed Indoor pool: heated pool was great. Spa-didn’t go. Location: Perfect. very close to the airport and 5 mins walk to bus station. Very accessible to Dubrovnik sea transportation as well. 4 star hotel rating.But So so beautiful sea views. I definitely would recommend this hotel. I will definitely come back, hopefully with my kids.

The hotel and room were stunning, the only negative was that the room was unbearably hot. When we asked the staff to help as our air con wasn't working we were told that the supervisor had decided to turn off all of the air conditioning as it would be too cold in some rooms (it's easily controlled in the room). We requested a fan instead but they had run out as so many people had requested them so put us on a waiting list for one but we didn't receive one. We asked if the air con could be switched back on if so many people had complained that they had run out of fans but we're told the supervisor wouldn't be doing that. Other than that it really was a gorgeous hotel and stunning location.

Our super refurbished room was very comfortable, clean and modern on floor 6 overlooking the sea. The sunsets were stunning from our balcony. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Fantastic indoor and outdoor pool areas. Breakfast very good with plentiful choice. Coffee unfortunately was strong and bitter, we found unpleasant! Dinner choice and variety was ok but not 5 star. the desserts in particular were tasteless We were pleased we stayed here as we had a very good stay overall.

Super hotel - this is what they used to be like 25 years ago before corporate chains sanitised them. Lovely staff throughout all areas. Dining room is busy but staff lay your table and attend to you straight on arrival and also clear really promptly, so it always looks smart. Big selection of food for breakfast and dinner, we enjoyed all meals. There is a sunset terrace near the Piano Bar for spectacular evening photos over the Adriatic. Clifftop coastal path from the children's playground will take you the (long) way down to picturesque Cavtat harbour passing 20th century defence bukers on the way. Balconies are quite small but the sea views are teriffic. All areas spotlessly clean. October visit, the outdoor pool was freezing! Drinks are a bit pricey but not much different from the prices in town. 45 minute bus ride into Dubrovnik costs 4 euros, but make sure you get off when the driver says 'city' or you will end up at the cruise terminal miles from anywhere.

Beautiful property. Even in a hillside facing room, you feel like you are completely alone….until the people next door talk. Room was quite noisy. All the people in rooms on either side were doing was talking in a normal volume.
