Guests consistently choose our well-equipped home for its location and spacious layout. It's designed to harness the cooling trade winds and outfitted with high quality split-system AC units. Covered parking at your door adds to the comfort and convenience.

Hot water and electricity are provided by the abundant Hawaiian sunshine with instant backup if needed. We also include Fiber optic connectivity rated at ~920 Mbps.

You will have exclusive access to all areas, garden and covered parking for this freestanding private home.

Poipu is located on the dryer side of Kauai with fabulous beaches, snorkeling and coastal walks. It is roughly equal distance to the lush North Shore and, in the opposite direction, west side beaches, and breathtaking vistas and a wide range of hikes and walks in Waimea Canyon and Kokee State Parks.

We recommend guests bring or rent their own masks, snorkels, fins and life jackets, if desired, to ensure proper fit. We provide lots of beach stuff but not boogie boards or umbrellas as they break too easily even from normal use.

We recommend purchasing Trip Insurance from a reputable company to avoid loss in case of unforeseen circumstances such as pandemic, weather, strike or illness. We buy it for ourselves when we travel.

Lastly, booking with us gives you an instant island connection. We love sharing information about Kauai. Our home is locally owned and ethically managed. 100% of the cleaning fee goes directly to our trusted housekeeper. You are also supporting small business and community members contributing in making Kauai unique.

We loved our stay in Poipu! Location, location, location. Perfect for a family stay. Great communication and real care from the host Chris. Thoughtfully set up, lots of extra amenities, and tons of clear signage to help us quickly get oriented to the house. This house was a spectacular place to stay for our vacation! The view of the ocean from the lanai was fabulous, we were able to watch whales breaching in the ocean from the comfort of this home! Chris was a welcoming host, very responsive to questions, and best of all, the accommodations exceeded our expectations.We enjoyed the view of the ocean from the balcony, the well-stocked beach gear room, and the quick walk to the beach.Most of us took morning and evening walks to check out the turtles on the beach. The kids rented surfboards and even took a lesson.Having stayed at other properties in Poipu, this is now our new favorite for family trips!

The family and I had a fabulous time staying in Poipu. We were fortunate to have perfect weather. The location is excellent for taking advantage of all of the shopping and eating available around the Poipu area. The off street parking is a real plus.

Amazing Location and House

Overall, the property had everything we wanted during our stay in Poipu. The house was spacious, clean and stocked with all the right amenities. It was walking distance to beaches and came stocked with everything you would need at the beach. The owner was very communicative and the checkin/checkout process was very easy. Would stay here again without a doubt.

We really enjoyed our stay! The location is perfect with a quick walk to two of the best beaches (Brenneckes & Poipu). Plus the layout of the house is great (where the downstairs quarters could be completely secluded if one desires). The host was great and easy to work with. We already miss waking up to that ocean view every day!
