Marriott Vacation Club Waohai - 2BR/2BA, Sleeps 8, Oceanfront Resort/Island View

The Waohai on Poipu Beach is on the Sunny South side of Kauai. Our family has stayed at at this resort for 7 years. This is a spectacular property which is only available to Vacation Club Owners during June, July and August. This booking is only for August 1-10, 2023. This booking ensures full resort privilege's as well as priority on Island View (ie choice of floor, building, etc. though based on manager's discretion).

This is pure paradise for families with children. It sits directly on Poipu Beach steps away from snorkeling off the coast, surfing, boogie and skim board and swimming. Seals and turtles sun themselves on the beach.

A gradual entry salt water pool by the Tiki Bar is perfect for toddlers and there is also a separate baby pool. The gradual entry opens up to a larger swimming pool for all ages with a hot tub and waterfalls.

A quieter adult pool is 500 feet away. There is a fully staffed all day activity center with wonderful activities for children all day long - arts and crafts, fishing, hula lessons. A robust grilling station allows for lunch and dinners in.

We accommodate 4 adults and 4 children ranging in ages from 2 years old to 15. There is ping pong and an outdoor chess set and the garden is lush and perfectly attended to.

Families have been vacationing, including ours, for many years and Marriott has thought of everything you might need.

Poipu is a laid back beach town with great services for families. Surf lessons, snorkeling, helicopter trips to the various sites on the island where movies have been filmed like Jurassic Park.

Kauai, known as the Garden Island, is known for it's lush natural beauty and warmth of native Hawaiians who live on the Island. You won't be disappointed.
