After spending 18 days in various hostels around Japan, and hundreds of days around the world, this one had been my absolute favorite. The best sleep I have gotten on my trip and the breakfast was an amazing treat. Walking distance to most sights.

Wonderful little hostel with extremely friendly staff. Great location. 15 minute walk from train station. 25 minute to walk from hostel to the top of Chureito Pagoda. Great value. Would stay here again for sure

Machiko-san was very helpful and friendly. Because we checked out early we couldn’t get any breakfast so she gave us a snackbox. Highly recommended this hostel if you’re visiting Fuji

Bon séjour, le seul truc qui manque est la consigne de bagages. Le service est bien, la dame qui nous a accueilli est assez sympathique. Un peu loin des transports en commun. Good stay, only thing that's lacking is luggage storage. Service is rather good, the lady who welcomes us is quite nice. A little far from public transportation.

乾淨舒適的青旅

住宿地點靠近月江寺站，並非hotels.com顯示的位置，務必使用Google map確認。從月江寺站，我推著行李走路約八分鐘可抵達，沿路還算好走。若是搭乘高速巴士，在富士山站下車後，約走15分鐘可抵達。 附近屬住宅區，超商跟餐廳還是有，只是選擇較少。住宿期間可租借腳踏車，距離新倉山淺間神社不遠，值得一去。但若從住宿騎往河口湖方向，一路都是上坡要有心理準備。 Host人很親切，英文很好，提供許多資訊。住客大多是歐美人士，氣氛融洽，整體室內空間包含公共區不大，但十分整潔，有小廚房可以料理，床鋪非常舒服，床下有空間可放置行李，需自備毛巾，唯一可預期的缺點是隔音不好，但無損住宿體驗，下次還有機會會再入住。

Great hostel - highly recommend

Really good guesthouse. Just over a year old it's in great condition. Good bathrooms, good bunks and wonderful host. Took me to japanese drumming practice and I got to play with the group! Plenty of restaurants in the area if you want to eat out but if you give the host a couple of days warning you may be able to cook and eat Japanese food with her. About 10 min walk to Gekkoji station. Note: The location of the hostel on the Hotels.com map was not the actual location. Make sure you check the location in a mapping program (e.g. google maps).
