Great place to chill

It’s an awesome villa with great ambience. Staff were very courteous & warm. However, the biggest shortcoming is the lack of wifi in the rooms.

Villa retreat is located next to the coacker's walk, Byrant park and at walkable distance to the boat house. Except for the crowded roads around, the location is otherwise apt. Do not miss the sunrise from the property which can be viewed from thier open restaurant side. Rooms were okay and decent. Maintanance could be better. Food at the resturant was good. I would recommend the valley facing rooms for the msjestic view. The property has 4w Parking spaces but it could get crowded. They were able to just manage it.

Excellent location close to the lake and botanical gardens; but the room was very small; bathroom was very basic; overall, room cleanliness can be better; the tv wasn’t working, and the staff couldn’t get it to work

Amazing place to stay, superb location, 5 mins walk from market, there is coaker's walk next door, bryants park opposite to road, the staff is very helpful and polite.

One can enjoy breakfast on the lawn with the best views of Kodaikanal. No need to pay to stroll on Cockers Walk for the same views which is crowded. Rooms are cozy and staff very helpful. Dining is good but one needs to place ones order 30 minutes in advance or enjoy a beer while one waits.

Staying at Villa Retreat was excellent. Location of the property is peaceful n wonderful.... can enjoy the nature n its beauty. Moreover, being located at just heart of the town roaming for sightseeing n shopping is also enjoyable. About the hotel, the cleanliness, food n overall ambiance was awesome...staffs are very well behaved n co-operative....homely feeling...great value for money... Really more than expectation!!!

Oasis of peace in the middle of honking country!

So quiet and peaceful, with clean and nice room. These old buildings converted into a charming small hotel make you think you are in the alps! Great service from the staff, and the manager Sham was full of interesting information on the area and on India in general.
