Come relax at Mitchell Ponds! Our 2 houses are among large hickory and walnuts trees creating a peaceful, quiet atmosphere. The original Farm House captures an authentic moment in history. The shady property slopes to the picturesque ponds where you can read on the bridge or fish along the banks. The private seasonal pool is available to our guests as well as a grill and fire pit for fun all day!
Our property boasts of a large event barn built in 1899! The beautiful Farm house is original to the property and is well preserved and furnished accordingly. The antique wood flooring and plaster walls help our guests really enjoy an authentic farm house experience. The covered front porch gives a pleasant place to sit outdoors in all weather.
The Carriage House was renovated into the guest house it is today in the mid-90's. It is truly one-of-a-kind! We host guests at both house and for large groups we can coordinate a rental of the whole property for added intimacy.
Our large, in-ground pool on the property is seasonally available (Memorial Day to Labor Day) to the guests of our rentals as well as a grill and fire pit for fun all day!
I do not live on the property. My home is about 10 minutes away so if the need arises I can be available. We primarily have self check in but I can also be available to greet my guests. I am periodically on the property to mow and conduct other maintenance projects. Don’t hesitate to reach out if you need anything or have any requests/concerns!
Our two house rentals, The Carriage House and The Farm House, are on the same property and have some shared amenities, such as the seasonal pool, grill and fire pit. Please be considerate of the other guests. Thank you!
