We had a great stay at The Mitre. Really friendly, helpful staff. Right next to the station and a short walk to the waterfront and town. Very comfortable room with everything that we needed.

Disliked: Cleanliness, staff & service
The shower took ages to get warm and there weren’t many bathroom products given in the rooms, The noise levels from the trains were annoying and sleep deprivation was included. The staff weren’t that friendly and honestly I would have expected more from them.

Check in wasent till 4:30pm.Quite busy when we arrived so had a drink a nice collection of ipa always a good thing.When got a drink told him we was checking in quite quick told us when your ready il show you to your room.To which they did explained everything.The room was everything we needed nice layout comfy bed.Near the train station but couldn’t hear much as trains pulled up.Shame they don’t do breakfast but there’s loads of place to go for something to eat in walking distance.Defo recommend to family and friends and would stay agin.
