This is a great location, not too far from Crater Lake. The room itself was mostly clean, there is a leak in the bathroom that looks like it's been ignored.
The bed is not that comfortable, the AC was loud, the people in the room above us were walking around the room until about 11 pm and starting around 5 am. It sounded like they were practicing marching. The highway noise is also loud. The person smoking pot at the picnic table didn't help the environment and made me queazy all night.
Crater Lake Gateway best part about this small hotel was it’s proximity to Crater Lake Zip Line. There is a small store that is connected to the hotel in some fashion the guy running it had a poor attitude it was like what are you doing here. We were in room 7 I noticed that the floor was not level by a lot. Filled a bottle of water laid it on the floor and watched it role all the way across the floor. We stayed here so we could get up and go zip lining it worked good for that purpose. Crater Lake Zip Line is the only reason to stay here I do recommend going to Crater Lake Zip Line they are great.
This place was so disappointing. The pictures showed a cute roadside motel and when we drove up we were really excited seeing the place, the experience went immediately downhill from there. The place was infested (no exaggeration) with mosquitos. We were warned in the check-in instructions to not leave the doors open too long. So we were VERY careful but we had no idea how serious the warning was. By the time we settled in we could see hundreds of mosquitos in our room. I was on the bed and standing on chairs trying to kill them with my shoe. One literally spread blood across the wall. We had no where to go and had to just deal with it but it was miserable. All 3 of us left with bites. The cleaning crew was very kind. They tried spraying, but there was really nothing they could do. The building inside and out was COVERED. Lastly, there was a woman who worked at the store/gas station who was awful. She was aggressive and rude. I tried to talk to her and asked if we could reset and try again since we were there for a couple nights. She walked away and said nothing. The cleaning crew said she use to be the manager but no longer held that position because she was always “stressed out”. I would not recommend this place to anyone. My best advice is to look elsewhere.

Liked: Cleanliness, staff & service, amenities
Very clean. No frills but everything needed available.
We arrived late, so the office was closed. But we received instructions ahead of time, so it was very easy. The room was clean and the space was quiet. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return again.
