Sustainable cabin in beech forest at Mellby Käsk

In the heart of the peaceful beech forest in Mellby Käsk lies this unique cottage, built with care for the environment and a feel for nature's own materials. The sedum-covered roof and iron-painted facade allow the cottage to blend perfectly into the surrounding nature.

Inside the cottage, you are greeted by a well-thought-out interior where recycled materials such as old doors and beams create a genuine and personal atmosphere. Every detail has been carefully selected to create a harmonious balance between the modern and the rustic.

The surrounding garden offers a peaceful place where you can enjoy the beech forest as a backdrop. Here you can relax to the sound of birdsong and the wind rustling in the treetops, while you let the stress of everyday life melt away.

A lovely cottage in beautiful surroundings with everything we needed for ourselves and our two children. We slept well there and were able to walk in the beech forest nearby and easily explore Österlen with the cottage as our base.
