Nestled amid sand dunes and sea oats is Barrier Island Station. One of the northern-most communities on the Outer Banks, Duck offers some of the last remaining unspoiled beachfront on the Eastern seaboard. Both the Atlantic Ocean and the sound present excellent water-sport opportunities. The resort has many amenities, including sailboats, windsurfers, and rafts.
