This oceanside property is located in Caffey's Inlet Hamlet, a private subdivision located about 3 miles north of the beautiful Town of Duck and approximately 400 yards from the beach via private access. Our beachfront is the location of a Duck Surf Rescue lifeguard station from Memorial Day to Labor Day. When you're not relaxing on Duck's beautiful sandy beaches, relax in your own private pool and hot tub. Feel the summer breeze from a furnished screened-in porch or in any of the wrap-around decks on both the first and second levels.

A large backyard is kept in a natural state perfect for cookouts and outside activities.As a guest of the property, you have access to the community-owned dock and pier along the Albemarle Sound located across the entrance to the subdivision. From this area, you can fish, kayak, or paddleboard on the sound. And don't forget to come back in the evening to witness radiant sunsets. This home is tastefully furnished and equipped with your family's comfort in mind including a high chair and other children's furniture and games. Overall this was a great house for a family of 6 plus 2 babies. There was a high chair at the house, and also baby gates which was a nice surprise. The walk to the beach was close, I would say probably 5 min walk. Bring a cart! Theres also access to the sound side. The pool is very shallow but still a great pool for our family, and a hot tub. Resort realty gives a credit to rent some beach equipment which was nice. The location is a quick drive to restaurants and shops! I would say my family is low key and easy to please. However, cleanliness was so bad. There was trash everywhere inside and outside. Broken glass inside and outside. Trash and candy under the side tables. Toothpaste on the bathroom vanity. Bottles and an old peach on the screened in porch. Stains on some of the bedding (they brought us new linens and they came and blew out the glass from the car port). Overall just seemed like no one even came to clean.

Very nice property. Listing description should be updated as well as the listing photo.The house is now a different color(white) than the photo (green).The back yard area has changed. It changed while we were there. The tree service company worked along the side street the week were there. Every day we were there. The sound of chain saws and tree grinders and engine sounds from the heavy equipment were constant during the day which made pool time very loud. The workers had ear protection and I suppose we should have as well. They were working along the side street at several properties that week. Just our luck, right?That shouldn't bother future visitors.
