Love this hotel! Its location near the harbor and right by the main restaurants and sites in Kirkwall is really convenient and safe - with fun things to do all around. The staff were all very pleasant and the pub and restaurant were nice.

Must nominate Dawn the receptionist as being especially helpful when we were stranded due to the ferry being cancelled - she found us space in the same rooms again - result! The Albert was an excellent place to stay for 3 days while we went around Okkney Islands. Our room was huge and a view of the ocean! The only possible drawback was parking can be a challenge! But doable.
