This is a hidden gem that everyone should get to experience. The rooms are wonderful, food was amazing and breakfast was included and plentiful. The area is spectacular. Definitely save time to explore the nearby waterfall that likely isn't in most itineraries but should be.

The hotel is not too beautiful from the outside, but the rooms are clean and comfy. Food was very good. People were very nice. Several restaurants and a fun bar nearby, grocery store, etc. Cool hike to a waterfall right behind the hotel, Highly recommend.

Nice place. The staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Very laid back place. There's some good hiking nearby that will become one of your highlights on your Iceland trip. The food at dinner was good. Breakfast is basic and not a buffet, but enough.
