Well maintained hotel. Wooden floors are not sound proof - I can hear people walking in next room. No need to book in advance as there are lots of rooms available in summer time. We booked our early July stay in March and found out the rate in July was 40% lower.

This was the most expensive stay on our trip to Iceland and by far the most run down and minimal. The experience was closer to a hostel rather than a hotel. The room we stayed in was right beside the kitchen and we could hear everything through what seemed to be paper thin walls starting at 6am. This property is absurdly overpriced for what you get, even for Iceland standards.

Loved the breakfast and quick and easy check-in process. The surroundings were beautiful and the nearby farm provided a nice opportunity to come close to horses.
