Charming chalet by the lake in Kintamani

Pondok Manoka is the ideal countryside getaway. Surrounded by the chili and organic vegetable fields, the house is located by the lake and overlooking the glorious Mont Batur Volcano.

Made of natural stones and local wood, this mountain chalet is quite unique in the area of Kintami. It is simple and cozy, the perfect base for an authentic balinese countryside escape. It has 2 bedrooms with king size beds, 2 bathrooms and a large mezzanine with 1 queen and 2 single floor mattresses.
There is a large living area and fully equipped kitchen in the centre of the house, and a veranda with sitting area for the family and friends to get together, while enjoying the beautiful views over the lake and the volcano.

Unlike many "villas" in the busy areas of Bali, this listing doesn't offer "hotel service". It was originally build as a secondary house for the owners to come with their children during the week-ends. Our lovely neighbour Kadek takes care of the cleaning of the house and can cook simple indonesian meals upon request.

You are high in the mountains of Bali here and the temperature is usually about 15 degrees cooler than down on the coast, and even more so at night. That, coupled with the often cloudy and drizzly weather, makes a sweater or jacket advisable in the day time and vital after sunset.
