The hotel was modern, clean and the rooms were very good size with a working desk and small refrigerator. The bed was large, comfortable and the TV worked very well and had an English speaking section of shows. Also the cleaning people did a very good job. They also had a solid bar and very good food.

An ok value but with a lot more hotels opening in Kin will have to up its game for this price range. All around great service especially Hyppolite at the restaurant. Lovely inner courtyard solid breakfast options and nice menu with very good indian food. Gym was a mess though, dirty with broken equipment. Huge room with good amenities. A good choice if you need to be centrally located.

J’ai sĂ©journĂ© Ă  l’hĂŽtel Royal de Kinshasa dans une suite junior (n°409) pour une durĂ©e de 9 nuits, au tarif de 250 dollars par nuit. Malheureusement, mon expĂ©rience a Ă©tĂ© dĂ©cevante Ă  plusieurs Ă©gards. Chaque jour, j’ai dĂ» tĂ©lĂ©phoner Ă  la rĂ©ception pour demander des essuie-mains, car ils n’étaient jamais mis Ă  disposition dans la salle de bain. Hier soir, Ă©puisĂ©e, je me suis allongĂ©e sur le canapĂ© et, en voulant prendre une douche vers 23h00, j’ai constatĂ© qu’il n’y avait aucune serviette. J’ai donc Ă©tĂ© contrainte de me coucher sans me laver. Ce matin, j’ai appelĂ© la rĂ©ception Ă  6h00 pour demander des serviettes, qui ne m’ont Ă©tĂ© apportĂ©es qu’à 8h00. Ce soir encore, j’ai contactĂ© la rĂ©ception Ă  22h00, et Ă  minuit passĂ© (00h05), je n’avais toujours rien reçu. Le personnel m’a simplement rĂ©pondu que le service des linges Ă©tait fermĂ©. De plus, l’état de l’ascenseur menant au 4e Ă©tage Ă©tait inadmissible : il est restĂ© toute la journĂ©e sale, rempli de poussiĂšre de ciment, de briques et de sachets sur une surface trĂšs Ă©troite (Ă  peine 1 mÂČ). Autre point : nous Ă©tions deux dans la chambre, mais on ne nous livrait que deux petites bouteilles d’eau par jour, alors qu’il aurait Ă©tĂ© logique d’en fournir quatre (deux par personne). Le personnel semblait ne pas ĂȘtre informĂ© que nous Ă©tions deux, preuve d’un manque de communication Ă©vident.
