Beautiful, quaint property, friendly staff. Only thing was that you could hear everything from the rooms and it was very noisy. Every time the people in the room across the hall came in and out their room, it sounded like they were trying to unlock our door that’s how loud it was. Besides that it was a stunning place!

The website was misleading as to the type of rooms. it shows the cottages having a balcony or a patio. My room had neither. Our party had book 3 rooms. I had requested a ground floor room due to a disability.Members of our party arrived at different times. Unfortunately they gave that room to the member of the party that arrived first rather than the person who booked the room.

The main property is pretty and interesting. I didn’t pay enough attention when booking and wound up in the b and b which is down the hill from the “castle.” These were lodges/cabins with no period feel at all to match that of the main property. It was comfortable but needs some upkeep. The main property was built to look like a castle but was never an actual castle. Still it is really pretty inside and out. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was nice and in a pretty room of the main building. We enjoyed the continental breakfast more than what we ordered. The pastries were fresh and delicious!!Delicious cappuccino!

Loved being able to stay in the original "castle" part of the building, but the layout for the lovely bathroom (in a round turret of the building) needs to be rethought. The claw-foot tub presented quite a problem for us mobility-challenged patrons to maneuver, and left a huge puddle behind the tub after showering. Lighting in the bathroom needs improvement for applying makeup, and putting the toilet paper holder on the back wall behind the toilet made it impossible to reach. Nowhere to hang hand towels for drying out after using.

Lovely stay for family wedding.

Beautiful . Can't fault Cabra castle in any way. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Also the cleanliness was top notch. The beds were so comfortable (had two nights in the castle room and one in the lodge) I've never slept so well in a long time. Would definitely recommend, especially when they have the spa and wellness facilities. The food was absolutely delicious (wedding party) even distributing chicken and chips in cones later in the evening . The Irish breakfasts ensured i got up and raced to the dining area in the morning (something i never do anywhere else) Wish i was still there!

Amazing place.

The hotel certainly has the wow factor, from arriving to check out the service and friendly staff are amazing. The room was comfy and beautifully furnished, and the dinner in the restaurant excellent. Top marks, the only drawback was we only stayed one night .
