Very happy here

Very clean, very well equipped, just needs some more relaxing lighting in the living area than the stark overhead LEDs, and a coffee table. Comfortable walk from well stocked Drake's supermarket for provisions if you don't have a car, wonderful to have the kitchen to dine in at night if preferred. Comfy bed, air con. Very good property!

Quiet escape on Kangaroo Island

What a lovely little spot on Kangaroo Island. We were only here for one night but wish we could have stayed for a week! The owners were super thoughtful with milk, butter, water, cereal and coffee - and homemade bread! All the basics and more. Easy to get in and out of area. They were so thoughtful they even thought to give us blankets if we got cold which has not been the norm at some other recent hotels and homes in South Australia. Thank you!

Brian the manager was warm, friendly and very welcoming. The complex where the unit is situated is very quiet and even has its own garage. The unit was very clean and well maintained. It is only a 5 min walk to the town centre and is across the road from the esplanade. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Kangaroo Island.

Not sure if we were just unlucky with our particular villa plus we never saw the well reviewed/friendly/helpful owner - maybe away? just an unfriendly young woman who never said Good morning nor made eye contact each time we saw her - she never smiled. . Offered no conversation upon arrival with help at where things were nearby. Villa was pleasant but a couple of minor cleaning issues. Especially bathroom basin & shower grout. A bottle of spray & wipe in kitchen would be good. Complimentary breakfast a nice gesture & appreciated. Bedsheet was ripped & pillows were a joke - so thin & old. Everything was a good size except tiny lounge room . Other residents were noisy at times in evenings. We still enjoyed our stay due to its location, great parking/garage & no stairs. Sad about the small things which affected our review.
