9 The Downs is a light and airy ground floor apartment set within a beautiful early 1900's building with large garden. The garden boasts stunning views of the sea and the surrounding beautiful South Devon coastline including the majestic and ancient Thurlestone Rock, nearby Burgh Island (Agatha Christie's inspirational location for her novel 'Evil Under The Sun'), and the fabulous golden sands of Bantham Beach ever popular with families and surfers alike. 9 The Downs is the perfect peaceful spot to relax by the coast.

The property is a newly modernised 2 bedroom ground floor flat in an extension to a building dating back to 1907 which sits on the high downs above Thurlestone village with commanding views of the sea and countryside.
The flat has its own entrance, accessible via a key safe and consists of entrance hall, kitchen/sitting room, 2 bedrooms one a double and the other with a pair of adult bunks and bathroom with bath and shower.
The flat is light and airy and has good quality furniture and carpets as well as a nice selection of art work on the walls.
There is broadband and a tv plus dvd player, together with a good selection of dvds. There is central heating. There is a dishwasher and a washing machine in the well equipped kitchen.

Thurlestone is a very pretty village by the sea in the popular South Hams area of South Devon. It is an ideal place for days out at the beach, walking holidays or for golfers. The Coastal Path is directly accessible from the flat. There are several dog-friendly beaches in Thurlestone which never get too crowded all of these are accessible by foot.
