Loads of charm and nostalgia. Decent food. Some staff are friendly, some just do their job. This is a very old building with few upgrades. Our room was a bit musty, washroom was dingy and there are no fridges or AC is any of the rooms.

Very old property but nice character, however, needs serious renovation. We ate there and the meals were nice. Staff were friendly and amazingly patient and helpful. Check in was a little frustrating as you are trying to fill in the registration form and at the same time being given information, which you struggle to take in, would make more sense to give you a piece of paper with all the hotel information to read at your leisure.

The staff were very friendly and welcoming, made us feel right at home! The atmosphere in the pub was equally as welcoming. Our evening meal (the Signature burger & mixed grill) was delicious 😋. As was the breakfast (full english & American style pancakes). There was also tea, coffee, juices,pastries, jam, marmalade, cereal etc... available at breakfast. The only slight issue was the bed, it was quite lumpy. The staff, food & atmosphere ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We will be returning and look forward to it!
