Keen walkers will delight in the extensive flower-filled country lanes and the maze of footpaths, explore the Cleddau Estuary or secret waterway on foot with its sleepy waterside villages, many with welcoming country pubs on its shores, including Cresswell Quay with its summer charity barbecues, Lawrenny which has wonderful waterside tearooms and Carew with its majestic medieval Castle hosting a variety of events over the summer. Even better explore by boat. The estuary is perfect for keen sailors wishing to venture further afield or kayakers looking for a slower pace to life.There are a number of fantastic beaches to explore, take in the seaside towns of Tenby and Saundersfoot with their range of facilities and beautiful golden sands, alternatively visit the picturesque bays of Manorbier, Lydstep and Freshwater East.
