Our lovely appointed and fully stocked studio boasts one of the best locations at The Banyan and in Kihei. It has ocean and mountain views from the lanai and is just a 3 minute walk to the famous Kamaoli Beach Park II.

The small kitchenette has everything you need to make breakfast, lunch or dinner. It is stocked with a fridge, toaster/oven, hot plate, microwave and all the dishes, pots/pans and utensils needed for baking and/or cooking.
It sleeps 3 with a cal. king bed and an optional twin air bed. AC, TV, wifi, beach necessities, free calling across the US and Canada are all included.
The Maui Banyan grounds are beautifully landscaped with two pools and BBQ areas, covered parking, tennis court and tropical walking paths.

Over all the property was great, had decent views, and good location. The condo was clean and adequately sized. The pool area was nice although the pool closest to us had quite a few kids that really like hanging around in the hot tub. The biggest problem was the elevator was out, and it will be for a bit yet so if you see this and have yet to go, ask for a discount. The condo is on the top floor (5) which is a big deal! It took its toll on my ankle and my lady's knee. The lenai is narrow and has an air conditioner that take a lot of enjoyment out of it but had good views of the ocean and Haleakala. And the air conditioner is in the worst location as far as performance (on the floor) which makes it cycle on and off constantly, it triggered me as I know how much energy that consumes and lowers the performance. The tv has just basic channels and I couldn't connect through the smart hub no matter what I tried. If you have a Firestick or similar, bring it! Overall it was a very good experience!

Maui Banyan is a wonderful complex to be at and we try to stay there every time we go to Maui. The studio apartment was nice and clean with a comfortable bed and a nice selection of island favourite snacks provided by the owner. There were a few minor issues as the front door and lanai sliding door were very difficult to open some times. As well the small fridge/freezer did not seem to keep things cold or frozen very well. As well the toaster oven was appreciated but the heating element didn't seem to work very well as we couldn't get it to toast bread.But overall these were relatively minor issues that did not take away from the time we spent in the unit.

Excellent location right across from Kam II. Space is as described. Nice to have beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and parking. Need to walk up/down stairs for parking. Wall unit a/c is a bit noisy but does the job. Also some noise from pool but quiet hours from 9pm on. Tiny little ants in unit. Well stocked unit and nice extras like snacks, drinks and paper towels. Overall enjoyed our stay and would book again.

We enjoyed our stay at Barb's place. The location was in a walkable area, close to beaches, and parking was easy. The beach chairs and umbrella were great. The room itself reflects the photos, and is akin to a 3 star hotel.

Perfect size room for a couple. Nice amenities including Kona coffee and some small treats to hold you until you get to a store. Also loved having beach chairs and towels provided. The balcony was tiny, but it was nice to have access to the outside and there was an ocean view from there. Owner was quick to respond. Would come back!

Nice stay near the beach

We enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. Very clean. Supplied nicely. All the size we really needed (studio). The neighbors in the attached room were loud at times. The kitchen sink also being the bathroom sink felt different. Clearly is a kitchenette, not a full kitchen. AC struggled to keep up. Very nice pool and wonderfully close to the beach. Safe area!

Fabulous!!

My husband and I stayed 9 nights, and it was wonderful. The California king bed was super comfy, and we loved watching the sunset from the lanai. The proximity to the beach and pool were ideal. There are many restaurants within walking distance. The beach chairs, towels, tennis rackets and balls (thanks Barb!) and other beach items were greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again! Thanks so much Barb, for creating a "home away from home" for those of us who love Hawaii.

This property was in a gorgeous spot in Kiheh. Super close to the beach. Everything you need in walking distance! Beautiful trees and greenery. Perfect little studio apartment. Can't wait to return to Maui!

Great Little Studio

My wife and I spent 8 nights in the studio. It was nicely furnished and had everything we needed for our stay. The location in the south end of Kihei was perfect for us, since we like to visit different beaches in Wailea and Makena. Most importantly the property manager was very responsive and a good communicator.

Cute small studio. No washer and dryer so no clean towels after a couple days was an issue for us. Also lani is not big enough to sit out on and enjoy ocean and sunsets. Great for price though
