Welcome to 4855 Turtle Cove! This 1st floor Kiawah Island villa, nestled in a palm tree grove is surrounded by nature and bike trails. It is an ideal location for those looking to take advantage of island amenities like world class golf, tennis, nature trails, and, of course, the beach! Being centrally located within the Resort and one of the closest Turtle Cove Villas to the ocean, this property offers the perfect beach retreat for vacationers and families. Additionally, it's within walking distance to the Sanctuary Hotel and Night Heron Park as well as only a short drive or bike ride to some outstanding restaurants and other amenities that the this idyllic island has to offer.

Upon entering the villa, you'll notice the recent upgrades and inviting neutral colors. The living room has simple modern furnishings and is a comfortable place to unwind after a long beach day. Located just off of the living room through the sliding doors, the screened in porch is an idyllic spot to spend time, relaxing with a book, enjoying your morning coffee, or even dining outdoors with friends.

The modern kitchen features granite countertops and updated appliances. Just off the kitchen is a dining area, which allows for comfortable seating for six.

The master bedroom (Bedroom #1) offers a king bed, flat-screen TV and an ensuite bathroom. The second bedroom (Bedroom #2) provides one queen bed, and a private bathroom. And the last bedroom (Bedroom #3) also has a queen bed with a bunk bed that has a twin bed over a full bed as well as a private bathroom. All of the bathrooms have been recently updated.

Great location! Rented bikes, easy ride to the beach and all over the island. Comfortable beds, a little tight on space. We had 7 people for 3 nights but once we went down to 5 it was better. The AC worked great but the bedrooms stayed warmer for some reason when the common areas were cooler.

Frig didn’t keep food and drinks cool and in the 2nd bedroom with the bunk beds the fan and light in the ceiling did not work so it made sleeping very uncomfortable for the 3 women in there.

Not quite worth the price

My family has been staying on Kiawah for the past 20+ years and this rental left the most to be desired (and has been the most expensive yet). Some things we enjoyed: - The location was good -- short walk to the beach. - The screened in porch was lovely. - having a bathroom for every bedroom was great. However, some of the things that made it not quite up to par: - bedframe in one of the bedrooms was extremely fragile IKEA bedframe that appeared to have already been damaged -- completely broke apart on the first night (thankfully the team was very prompt in fixing it the next morning!) - One of the bathroom mirrors fell off the wall and onto one of my family members while they were standing in front of it - One of the fake drawer panels in the kitchen kept falling off - there were a few concerning squishy spots in the kitchen floor Overall we enjoyed our stay in a beautiful part of South Carolina, but with what the total of this rental came out to with taxes and fees, I would expect a bit higher quality experience.

This is a dog friendly unit and future renters should be aware that a significant amount of black dog hair appeared during the coarse of our stay (? via air units). This may be able to be addressed with new air filters/ cleaning ducts etc. Otherwise, no complaints.
