When we first arrived, we realized that the email that was sent to us the day prior to our arrival did not contain the code to the door of the unit we were staying in. It only contained the codes to the building door and garage door. We called the property management team that manages this unit, and had to wait about 30 minutes to receive a backup code (we were directed by the owners of the unit that all communication should go through this property management company and never spoke to the owners beyond an initial message sent in Vrbo instructing us to communicate with this property management company directly). Once inside the unit, we realized several items were damaged or broken, including a hole in the wall of one of the rooms, a damaged mirror, and damaged furniture. We reported this directly to the property management company (with pictures) as soon as we noticed these items. In addition, the sheets in one of the rooms appeared possibly used, but all other bedding seemed appropriate. In trying to use the washing machine in the unit, we discovered it smelled pretty bad (maybe it had not been used in a while) and ultimately decided not to use it. It was helpful to have a book that listed important information/phone numbers about the building, but it would have been helpful to have front desk staff in the building to help clarify anything building related. Otherwise, the unit was okay: we really enjoyed the massage chair and the breathtaking views from the unit!
