A great place to stay and enjoy all the Black Hills has to be offer. There is a side view of Mt Rushmore and fun to sit on the decks and watch the lights turn onto Washington. The breakfast is excellent

We loved the setting, it sits in a little valley and from the view of the mountains rooms you have a view of Washington s face at Mt Rushmore. The rooms are nice, clean, roomy. Breakfast included, a Pub on site and a beautiful Lodge/lobby. Highly recommend to anyone coming to see Mt Rushmore only 2 miles away

Absolutely Stunning Setting. Very close to major attractions and tourist stops, however a brief turn along a scenic road will take you to a place of natural beauty ,a peaceful valley where the KayBar S lodge sits nestled amongst the tall pines.

Excellent choice. Had ADA room as requested. Very convenient location and parking. Greeted with fresh cookies. Almost missed breakfast but staff at front desk made sure we were able to make it. They even started pancake maker for us before we walked in. Breakfast was great!

Atmosphere was great. Tucked in by itself with rocky cliffs and lots of pines…scenically sited. Interiors were dated but comfortable. Dining was detached. Beef Brisket was tasty. Breakfast was self-serve. Location was less than 6 miles from Mt. Rushmore.
