Hello! And thanks so much for your interest in our Sas-sea at sea. Also, please make sure that you've read the description thoroughly! we HAVEN'T changed our prices in 5 yrs, if this isn't 100 percent appreciated, please stop your inquiry. BOAT STAYS ANCHORED. she's located approximately 3/4 MI from The Base Marina in a beautiful, very private and Serene cove! upon your arrival, I will run you out to the boat and go over everything with you. Our Sas-Sea at sea is an older boat, but she has all the systems/functions that you'll need to have a great stay! We will mention, that if your picky, high maintenance, or needy, that this may not be the adventure for you, but that there should likely be a Hilton or Marriott down the road for three times the price, that will have a mint on your pillow for you :-). Furthermore, this adventure has proven to be most satisfying for kids 60 and under :-) Often times you will have Manatee and dolphin come to say hi!! She has an abundantly stocked galley, with various seasonings, Olive oil, coffee, filters, etc.. the generator on the boat will supply ample power for whatever you required to cook, ac, coffee, toaster oven. It's design however, is not to run 24 hours a day. We supply you with 8 hours/ day, of run time on the generator, anything in excess of that we leave up to you to cover expenses for. That, helps us keep our costs down, translating into a much cheaper stay for you!!! The Captain's quarters, in front of the boat, offer a comfortable queen size bed for your hrs of very regenerating shut eye :-) The bathroom has a camper type porta- potty, and shower for rinsing off ( not heated), The boat has a nice stainless steel grill on the back, for you to enjoy cooking your favorites on) included with the boat, comes a double kayak, or for a little extra, let us know, and we can reserve a dinghy with motor for you! We had an amazing holiday vacation over Thanksgiving in the Keys. The Sas-Sea was perfect for our trip, and Mark is an amazing host. He made sure we had everything we needed and stayed in constant contact throughout our trip. Everything was as listed, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience and host. My husband and I spent 3 nights. We also rented Marks 14' boat to get us back and forth. This 31' boat is anchor out in a protected bay, it is an older boat that is in need of some love. The canvas is torn. There is only seating in the back of the boat for two. The boat is not well set up for cooking. There is a hot plate, a coffee maker, and a separate generator. A portable toilet. Your host Mark will supply you with all the water & ice. There is a large cooler to keep your food & drinks cold. Mark was always available. We are campers, so we were perfectly fine with the arrangements. We brought out appetizers & we ate out. We were there to explore the main land. I would recommend bringing plates, cups, ect., everything you would like for camping. The boat is perfect for two and the people who are completely comfortable with camping out. You're not getting your hot showers in the morning or your beautiful kitchen. We enjoyed our stay, the beautiful sunsets & our quiet mornings enjoying our coffee before we would head out for the day.

We had a wonderful stay, it was short but it was wonderful. The boat was everything you need to get away from the busy world we all live in. We had another guy from marks boats stop over and show us a fishing spot. And it’s like nothing you have ever seen before. Overall it’s a great experience that we will definitely want to do again.

Overnight stay on our way down the Keys…

The boat was exactly what we wanted where we wanted it…nice secluded cove with only a few other boats around. The weather was as perfect as the sunset over the mangroves. Mark was the perfect host, giving us a quick tutorial on running the dinghy and more than enough water and ice for the night. It was one of my wife’s favorite nights that week! Thank for everything Mark - we will be sure to come back if the opportunity arises :)

Peaceful and Perfect

This was the perfect vacation for us! We stayed there 3 nights. So peaceful out on the water in Mark's boat! It has everything you need and Mark is the best host! He checks on you to see if you have everything you need. We enjoyed fishing and swimming right off the boat and exploring the Everglades at a nearby park. We saw manatees and dolphins near the boat. If you're someone who loves to experience God's beautiful creation first hand, this is the trip for you! I highly recommend Mark's boat!

Our stay on the ocean

We thought it was wonderful and unique. If you aren’t ok with bare bones accommodation and “roughing it,” this isn’t for you. If you are up for something unique, sleeping on the ocean, possibly seeing dolphins, and catching some rays, this would be for you. We aren’t fishermen but this would be heaven if you are a fisherman!

On of my best trips to the Florida Keys

This is my second trip to Marcs boats and jist like the first trip Marc was an excellent host he is always attentive to our needs, responds quickly, anythin I needed was already there , and even if you might forget the small thing , you know ?this that and the other , its was there already , the air conditioning was cold through out the boat cabin.The veiws from the boat deck from sun up to sun down are amazing, and the quiet and seclusion is second to none , and I will be back for another stay soon

The boat was comfy and located in a peaceful cove. If your adventurous, and, like the description states, not expecting the Hilton, you'll love it. Oh, and if your exceptionally sensitive to mosquitoes, a good number of them found us. There's bug spray on the boat, but may want to bring some of your own too. Our host Mark was very responsive, and helped to make our stay as pleasant as possible. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises!
