Gentleman who checked us in was very pleasant and helpful! I do have a couple suggestions: 1. Since there is no power in the bathroom for a hairdryer install a mirror over the shelf by the desk so we have somewhere to do our hair and makeup! 2. When I made the reservation I indicated 2 guests, 2 nights. Apparently, that wasn't taken into consideration as there was only 1 coffee cup for the 2 of us and not enough coffee for 2 nights for 2 people. I asked for more which I was given (he's very nice), which got us through the first morning. We got back late that night and the office was closed so I got more out of the supply closet for the next morning. Guess I wasn't supposed to do that, but, If we had been refreshed for the second morning I wouldn't of had too! BUT, I do want to say the gentleman at the desk was very helpful. He came and assisted us with the TV when we were having problems and was always very nice!

I was told at arrival that the room i reserved had not been renovated, but seriously? The entry door was shoddy with a chain latch. It took forever to get hot water to the shower, and then it got very cold then very hot several times. There was no exhaust fan. I dont expect cheap hotels to be great, but i was charged enough that i shouldnt have missed my own tiny bathroom. And, i had to do hair and make up at the desk as there wasnt a plug in for my hair dryer in the bathroom. I paid for 2 nights but only stayed the first night. This is absolutely not the kind of hotel i expect to find on expedia.
I backed up to outside the doorway for this.
This room looked and felt like it was in the middle of renovations

Very dated rooms. Broken baseboard heater. Noisy plug in barn heater to trip over in the night. I never saw a single staff member during our stay. We only responded negatively to the review request because they hounded us to do so. I didn’t mention the cat that tried to come in the room or the bugs on the floor.

floorboard heating system was not functional and an illegal space heater was used instead with outlet plug hot to the touch when I entered the room. Toilet had been used and not flushed. Shower appeared unclean. Coffee maker could only be plugged into an extension cord that required the coffee maker to rest on the carpet. The bed was good and the room was not noisy.

Property was decent for the area. However, there were few amenties. No hair dryer ( did not inquire at the front desk), limited parking, no deadbolt on door - we used a flat of water to keep door secure, coffe maker was very nice, but no refills were available due to delivery delay( suggestion of local coffee stand was good though), no area information in room, no closet or storage for luggage etc. Again overall decent hotel, but not as advertised. Also- property cancelation rules apply, they will enforce the 15 day cancel policy regardless of how you book! To the property- please invest in basic security or deadbolts in your rooms. As well as bug control in the summer.

Hidden gem!

This place is a gem! The rooms were comfy and very clean. The gentleman that runs it was very nice and super helpful. We stayed 4 nights and our only complaint is that they hot water must be shared by rooms because we had cold showers 2 days. Not a deal breaker for us. They are very good about communicating and respond to texts quickly. We would stay here again. Also, you will be charged for your stay before you go, the hotel does not have an option to "pay at check in" as stated on Hotels.com. just be aware.

We had been travelling for 9000 KM's on a 3 week vacation and I wanted a nice cozy place to have ahot shower and relax and get ready for camping the next few days. I noticed the room didn't have a hair dryer, so I called the owner, and he had the housekeeper bring me one right away. We loved sitting on our patio chairs and just soaking up the calmness.
