One of my favorite places to stay in Kernville close to downtown restaurants and bars, and is easy enough to get to the market or the upper Kern. It’s a cute little motel slightly rundown, but that adds to the character Pet friendly and good enough to spend all day at the river and come back and shower and sleep. Will stay again !!!!!

The accommodations are well situated in the middle of town and make it easy to walk to any place for eating, etc. The rooms and property are representative of the price point. I had no problem with it. I do like the fact that you have a small private beach and courtyard, and the doors of each room open out away from the street. Would stay here again.
