Very good,all staff from reception to cleaners very polite and cheerful and helpful.
The room was really comfortable and spacious.
The dining room was lovely,the breakfast selection was excellent and very tasty.
We shall be visiting the area again in late November early December for about a week and will definitely book again with you.
Stayed here for 2 nights while working in the Kent area and it’s a great hotel.
Large free car park if you are a resident and you must register your number plate in reception, really friendly lady on reception.
I requested a high floor and that’s what I received.
Nice sized room which you would expect from Holiday Inn, decent restaurant and bar area with a nice beer garden.
Would recommend if staying in the middle of Kent and not far from Dover.
The hotel staff was friendly with a professional attitude. A mini fridge in the room would have been nice and a toilet brush in the bathroom as well. Overall a good stay considering the air conditioning which was a big plus.
We had a very comfortable overnight stay. Because we could not have breakfast as we were leaving at 6 am for the channel tunnel we ordered a takeaway breakfast. It was ready at 6 am and good value. Very much appreciated.
Arrived and was greeted very nicely by a member of staff at reception. I have a few mobility issues even tho not disabled but he found me a ground floor room with walk in shower. Room was nice and clean and a very comfy bed. Was for 4 nights and everything was great. Would definitely return when back down in area.
We saw hares from our room window, lovely setting.
The one down side, in the very hot weather, a humid night, the air con wasn't working...... I had picked the hotel based on the fact there was air con

Menu very poor as little choice of mains!
Was told we were not able to use the restaurant due to coach tours being prioritised over other paying guests. We were accommodated in the bar and told menu choice was same as in restaurant but felt ‘pushed out’ because the restaurant was full with tour parties..
Staff were very friendly and accommodating and often seemed over worked! Would have to think twice before booking again due to the lack of menu choice and restaurant seating availability we experienced!
We rang to check what time food was available until and were told the restaurant was open until 9.30. When we got there the restaurant was closed for a function!! We ate off a very limited bar menu in our room which was not ideal. The key card stopped working so my husband went to reception where he stood in a queue with 3 more people with the same problem and a very grumpy receptionist telling them all it was their fault! The hotel and facilities were good but the receptionist ( male) was rude and the bar staff grumpy and poorly trained
We were a family with a small child; we were given the last room at the end of the property. The walk to our room took about 5 mins and was not easy with a child. We even requested to get a room closer because we had a child but were told everything is fully booked. We then saw two young men who came after our reservation and were given a much closer room (no difference in the type of room).
The hotel phone was not working, when we complained, they asked us to use our mobile phone and call the number on the website to speak to someone in reception. I booked Holiday Inn hoping that the franchise is good and the overall experience will be better; was very disapointed with the overall service & room amenities.
The service and staff of this property are A+++ Extremely friendly staff and always willing to help. My wife hurt her knee and the staff went out of the way to make her stay comfortable. We will definitely visit again. Special thanks to Kyle, the duty manager

The bathroom was refurbished very new but for some reason the bin in the bathroom do not have bin bags!!
The room & whole building is a bit old especially the telephone!! The tv is old, remote control missing lid at the back just like many hotels.... The air condition is not working as it's probably too old.
The breakfast is ok (2 for 12 pounds), but no fried eggs available for some reason, also hot chocolate from the machine is very very sweet even after I put half a cup of milk in.
Overall if this is not holiday inn brand probably not worth the money, as it is holiday inn.....
