Great place to stay, excellent clubhouse with great staff and food. The only downside was that the suite we had was very small, with no seating and no wear to put your suitcases, and only one TV in the main bedroom, which wasn't that great when sharing with others in our party.

Lovely location and clean room . Staff friendly if your late or around 5pm just go straight to the bar to get key . Only complaint was to no mirror in room and the guy who checked us in didn’t know if we had breakfast but that’s no major issue . I’ve heard food is great but also Kendal is really close .

Absolutely fantastic. The bathroom was one of the best I have ever used fantastic shower and bath. New facilities. Truly exceptional. The food in the restaurant was great and the place itself is amazing. Highly recommended.

Brilliant location for our Dalesway walk and staff were just brilliant as our time changed a couple of times during the days walking meaning we were later than expected but staff dealt with brilliantly and always with a smile

Nice clean rooms but certainly not luxury as stated. If you have a downstairs lodge you can hear everyone upstairs going to the toilet & banging about. No iron or ironing board in the room which you would expect in "luxury accommodation" I'd expect more for £130 a night.

This was a great place to stay. It was a bit far away from the city center. The room was very nice,, and we would stay here again but definitely better for stays related to events at the site or playing golf than a pass through see Kendal location

Excellent stay. Staff and accomodation first class. Being a golfer it was perfect . The facilities and course were excellent. The course despite the horrendous recent weather was excellent and a credit to the greenkeepers. Can’t wait to go back.

Pleasant stay.

Overall it was a very pleasant stay in lovely surroundings, unfortunately a couple of issues didn't quite make it ideal, no full length mirror and no window blinds with the curtains as we were woken very early with daylight/sun flooding the room!
